I had lunch with Harold and Pete at Togo's on Tasman near Lafayette. I had a turkey avocado sandwich along with a soda and bag of Miss Vickie's Jalapeno Chips.

Tina and I met up with Dave and Rachel for dinner at Ringerhut. I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen without ginger (like usual).

We also ordered a tuna dish that was a special called Tuna Tataki. The picture made it look like it was raw tuna surrounded by a white substance that looked like glutinous rice to me and covered in sesame seeds. When we got it, it was actually just seared tuna with sesame on the outside. I'm not a big fan of seared tuna.

I also ordered a pork special labeled Nagasaki-style braised pork which looked like a very fatty part of the pork that was slowly stewed in a soy sauce marinade. It had the texture of pulled pork but with the taste of soy sauce and sweet pork lard. Excellent! The soy sauce stewed egg and daikon that it came with were also tasty.
