Lunch: Leftovers - wild mushroom pasta from South Congress Cafe and left over angel hair pasta with Italian meatballs.

Dinner: Tina had a hankering for menudo, so we headed over to Los Vega Restaurante (721 N Old Highway 81, Kyle, TX‎ - (512) 268-8570‎) and ordered a large bowl which we shared.

I also ordered a crispy taco plate.

Interestingly enough, someone paid for our meal - a group of people we didn't get a good look at we finished dining while we were still eating (they didn't come over to talk to us or anything). Our waitress said that the man's name was Ted and he was a local sheriff (I assume sheriff's deputy since our county sheriff's name is Tommy Ratliff). We have a couple sheriff's deputies living on or near our block, so it could very well have been one of them. We'll have to see if we can find out from our neighbors if one of them is Ted to thank him and bring over a tiramisu or something.
