Dinner: We stopped at Haiku (9600 S Ih 35 # C600, Austin, TX‎ - (512) 291-5600‎) for a quick sushi dinner. We started off with a seaweed salad.

Then followed up with some nigiri - escolar and salmon.

We tried a few of their special rolls beginning with the Tropical Roll (tempura shrimp with cream cheese topped with salmon and mango sauce) which was a bit too sweet for our taste.

The Tiger Roll was next - Tuna and salmon wrapped in tuna and salmon and eel and topped with fried tempura batter, roe, and unagi sauce.

The last roll we ate was the South Park Roll which had crawfish and fried tempura batter wrapped with snow crab, spicy tuna, and wasabi tobiko. This was my favorite of the three special rolls, but the tempura batter make the interior of the roll a bit dry.

Lunch: We closed on our new house today, so much of our time was spent driving from the house (after inspection) to the rug store to pick up our rugs, to the tile store to get grout sealant, and then to the title company for our closing. We grabbed burgers at Burger King and wolfed them down in the parking lot of Alamo Title Company. I ate a Texas Double Whopper (which is a double whopper with jalapenos, bacon, ketchup, and mustard). I don't remember much of the details of how it tasted since it went down so fast, but I don't think I'll order it again.
