Photo of the Week: San Francisco City Hall at Night (San Francisco, California)

This photograph was taken from the Parc 55 Hotel (about two blocks from Union Square). The lights were turned off in the room and the tripod with camera was setup between the blackout curtains and the windows of the room to minimize glare and reflections from the window glass.

  • Ahhh, this photo makes my heart beat with wedding excitement. Yes, it's the building I got married in, right underneath the grand rotunda. Every time my husband and I drive by it at night when it's all lit up, we look at each other and say fondly, "Look! It's our building!" ;)

  • Wow, that's awesome! I never knew you could rent city buildings for wedding ceremonies - I bet you had the most impressive venue of all your friends.
