Dinner: Red Robin.

Half order of onion rings.
Red Robin - Half order of Onion Rings

A1 Peppercorn Burger with an Egg. Everytime we come to Red Robin it seems to be getting worse and worst. Just one year ago, I really liked their burgers, but now they are getting increasingly dry and flavorless. Tonight was the worst yet. Even their normally excellent fries were dry and unseasoned (and adding seasoning afterward just doesn't work too well since it all falls off the fries).

  • They've been hit-or-miss with me. The last time we went, the burgers were spot-on but the fries weren't very good. The time before that, the fries were fantastic, but the burgers were way overdone and way salty.

  • In the past, I've had great success with meal there… The South Austin location has been going steadily down hill over the last year (it could be just our luck and we keep missing the staff that can cook). When I ate at the Rivermark location in Santa Clara, CA, they've always been pretty good.
