Lunch: We ate the rest of the jambalaya.

Dinner: We tried to make it to a 9:50pm movie, but I didn't get done with work until 9:15pm. We tried to grab a quick dinner at McDonald's on the way to the movie, but, in the end, missed our movie. (It was 9:55pm when I overshot the exit I needed to take.) At McDonald's, I had a Big Mac, Filet-o-Fish, and shared fries with Tina.

  • A McChicken and fries used to be my go-to fast-food fix, but…they've taken away the seasame seends from the bun, and their fries haven't been the same since they changed their oil however-long-ago that was. :( I find myself less inclinded to go there over other nearby options now…

  • I wonder if you can request the sesame seed bun (since they have the buns for the Big-Macs)…

  • True…at the same time, it's a sign of cost cutting. I used to really like North Beach pizza, but then their pizzas started getting smaller, then you got less cheese, then they changed their dough…it just got to a point where I don't go there anymore. I'd rather pay a buck more than get food that's a buck worse.
