  • Michael, was that a soup of the silken tofu in the oyster sauce? I sounds good to me, I love oyster sauce (I would sneak in some dried mushrooms in it though) and I love leftover dumplings. I think the skin gets a little more flavor somehow, from the oil in the pan.

  • Bobbi, it wasn't meant to be a soup :P. I put a little too much water and not enough corn starch to thicken it, so in the end there was more sauce than I intended and it didn't coat the tofu very well… I also love pan fried dumplings more than boiled ones given the additional flavor as well as texture, especially the crispy skin.
