I thought about writing a spoof or a joke article in honor of April Fools' Day, but I'm too tired to. My parents were up in Santa Clara to help move some stuff of ours out that we won't be taking to Texas. We discussed what we wanted for lunch and ended up going to Porridge Place (10869 N Wolfe Rd, Cupertino, CA‎ - (408) 873-8999‎) in Cupertino Village. It's a Taiwanese-style rice porridge restaurant where you pick a few small dishes to accompany (a presumably unlimited supply of) rice porridge.

Wednesday Photo: Southwest View From Pier 39 (San Francisco, California)

Looking southwest from the second floor of the Aquarium of the Bay on Pier 39, you can see the office buildings and residences of San Francisco rising above on its hills.

I think this is going to the the last photo in the Photo of the Week/Wednesday Photo series for a while. I'll be packing and moving and unpacking. I'll resume the series once I'm settled again.
