What I Ate: March 11, 2009 (In-N-Out)

I cooked up a quick breakfast/lunch - two fried eggs set over some pasta (with a little pasta water as sauce).

For dinner, I got myself a Double Double from In-N-Out Burger (which I won't be able to get once I move to Austin next month).

  • Man, those are some overcooked eggs! I like 'em over easy, so a lower temp is better — and they are less rubbery that way, too.

  • Yolks still flowed but I like the edges crisped. I used the Chinese method of folding the whites over the yolks to protect them.
