American Airlines Potato Chips
Posted 17 April, 2008 at 4:47am by Michael Chu(Filed under: Travel)
While on the flight to Austin, Texas, I bought what I thought was going to be the most over priced bag of potato chips ever - $3. What I got was surprising:

It was a Lays Stax 5-3/4 oz. container of potato crisps. That’s 6 servings. For airline food, that’s practically a steal!

I don’t know about you but I find the only time I EVER drink ginger ale is when I’m on a plane. I never crave it outside a fuselage.

Hahaha, that used to be true for me. But these day’s I’ve been drinking quite a bit of ginger ale outside of the plane. I find myself drinking a lot of Reed’s Extra Strong Ginger Ale which I think is excellent and does not contain any high fructose corn syrup.

You should try Vernor’s Ginger Soda, if you can find it. It’s totally different from any ginger ale I’ve ever had, though I’ve never had Reed’s Extra Strong. It’s really good and you can taste the ginger a lot.
