Started off the day with a piece of toast with a light layer of strawberry jam.

I went to my friend Pete's house for a game playing gathering (played a new board game called Race for the Galaxy) and ate spaghetti with a little red sauce (which I believe was Newman's Own Marinara sauce). I couldn't believe how good it tasted. I've never said this of a canned or jarred spaghetti sauce, but after a week of eating bland foods, that spaghetti sauce was the best tasting sauce I could remember.

In the evening, when I returned, Tina pointed out that there were additional tiny packets that came with the ramen besides the two in the ramen packet. Apparently, there's a powdered vegetable packet that came in the five pack bag (external to the individual ramen bags). I tried the ramen in the blue bag (my least favorite of the three) with the extra packet and it was much better. It smelled like roasted corn when I put it in. I also poached an egg in the ramen.
