Introducing Wear or Not
Posted 20 October, 2007 at 8:35pm by Michael Chu(Filed under: Wear or Not)
A couple months ago, Tina came up with an idea for a website that spawned from meeting James Hong, on of the founders of the incredibly popular Hot or Not website. After a few discussions, the website began to look less and less like Hot or Not and more and more it’s own thing. When I started building the application for Tina, we couldn’t come up with a name (with an available domain), so we settled (for the time being) on WearOrNot.com. The website would allow people to upload pictures of themselves wearing different outfits (or accessories, hairdos, whatever you can wear) and other people could vote on which one they liked better. In theory, if there’s enough people who participate, it could be really cool.
I’ve still got a lot of work to do, but I decided to open it up for some public testing. If you’ve got a better name, suggestions or an opinion, please leave a comment or e-mail michael@wearornot.com.

How’s this for a name:
Chic or Geek?

That’s pretty good - but the name’s taken. Also the outfits might not be geeky - just not as chic.
